Job summary

Hair Cuttery Family of Brands is seeking a Salon Manager in Illinois to lead a high-energy team behind the chair and in front of guests. You will recruit top stylists, mentor associates, and drive sales using the Stylist App and Zenoti.

You’ll ensure a safe, clean salon that follows State Board and OSHA standards while delivering exceptional guest experiences and team development. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership and performance coaching.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license in the state you’re applying for.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Minimum of 12 months in a prior leadership role preferred.
• 40 hours per week (5 days/8 hours per day).
• Stand, walk and perform repetitive salon motions for shift.
• Able to work in a salon with exposure to hair chemicals and scents.
• Basic math for cash/inventory and training attendance.

Responsibilities

• Be a Talent Scout: recruit top stylists and partner with local beauty schools.
• Master the Guest Journey: lead by example behind the chair and train the team.
• Grow Your Empire: use Stylist App and Zenoti to hit sales goals and optimize schedules.
• Be the Ultimate Mentor: use the IGROW model to develop associates’ careers.
• Set the Stage: maintain a safe, clean, and compliant salon environment.
