Job summary

Hair Cuttery Family of Brands is seeking an Assistant Salon Manager to serve as the right hand to the Salon Leader, guiding the team while remaining active behind the chair. You’ll be the heartbeat of the salon, ensuring energy, guest satisfaction, and smooth operations.

You’ll lead daily operations, mentor stylists using the IGROW model, and uphold safety and compliance standards. This full-time role also involves supporting local marketing and partner initiatives to keep chairs busy.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Cosmetology license in the applicable state.
• This is a full-time leadership role (minimum 40 hours per week).
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform all salon services with precision.
• Great attitude, solid communication, and basic math for inventory/cash handling are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations on the floor, managing the appointment book and guest flow.
• Coach and mentor stylists to reach goals and advance their careers.
• Maintain cleanliness and compliance with State Board and OSHA standards.
• Assist with local partnerships and digital campaigns to keep chairs full and the brand active.
