Job summary

Ashley Furniture is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to lead the showroom floor while continuing to grow your own sales. In this hands-on leadership role you will coach team members, close opportunities, and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Work with the Sales Manager and Store Manager to drive performance, develop talent, and maintain a competitive, customer-focused environment. Eligible for additional $150 weekly leadership pay and strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales or customer service experience required.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, energetic, self-motivated, and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Continue personal selling while supporting the sales team on the showroom floor.
• Lead by example in customer service, product knowledge, selling, and closing.
• Coach and encourage sales associates to stay focused on goals and customer needs.
• Assist team members with sales opportunities and closing strategies.
• Share product knowledge and effective selling techniques.
• Help create a positive, competitive, customer-focused showroom environment.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and development of new and existing associates.
• Support promotions, financing programs, and company sales initiatives.
