Ashley Furniture is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to lead the showroom floor while maintaining strong personal sales performance. You will coach and develop the sales team, drive closing opportunities, and deliver an exceptional guest experience on a daily basis.

Work closely with the Sales Manager and Store Manager to boost sales performance, support the team, and promote a positive, customer-focused environment. This role offers leadership growth with ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Retail sales or customer service experience required.
• Ability to coach and lead others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, holidays and peak retail hours.

Responsibilities

• Continue personal selling while supporting the sales team on the showroom floor.
• Lead by example in customer service, product knowledge, selling, and closing.
• Coach and encourage associates to stay focused on goals and customer needs.
• Assist team with sales opportunities and closing strategies.
• Help create a positive, competitive, customer-focused showroom environment.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and development of new and existing associates.
• Support promotions, financing programs, and company sales initiatives.
• Assist the Sales Manager and Store Manager with leadership and daily execution.
• Maintain an organized, engaging showroom ready for customers.
