Job summary

Ashley Furniture is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to lead our showroom floor. This hands-on sales leadership role lets you continue closing personal sales while taking on coaching and development of the sales team.

You will work with the Sales Manager and Store Manager to drive performance, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and promote from within as you grow into greater leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales or customer service experience required.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Strong interest in developing leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, energetic, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
• Competitive and results-oriented with strong accountability.
• Comfortable coaching and providing support or direction to fellow associates.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Furniture, mattress, home furnishings, or retail sales experience is a plus.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak retail hours.

Responsibilities

• Continue personal selling while supporting the sales team on the showroom floor.

• Help maintain an organized, engaging, and customer-ready showroom.
• Participate in ongoing sales and leadership training.

About the Role

Are you a top-producing sales professional ready to take the next step into leadership without sacrificing your earning potential? We are seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to help lead our dynamic showroom floor. This is a hands-on sales leadership role where you will continue to build your own sales while taking on additional responsibility for supporting and developing the team.

You will lead by example—excelling in direct guest sales while coaching team members, assisting with closing opportunities, and helping deliver an exceptional guest experience.

You’ll work closely with the Sales Manager and Store Manager to drive sales performance, support the team, and help create a positive, competitive, customer-focused showroom environment.

We believe in promoting from within and giving high-performing team members opportunities to take on greater leadership responsibilities as they grow.

You’ll continue to earn through your personal sales while receiving an additional $150 per week for your leadership responsibilities.

Compensation

• Approximately $60,000 average first-year earnings


• Unlimited commission potential on personal sales


• Monthly bonus opportunities on personal sales


• Competitive guaranteed hourly rate


• Top performers can earn $100,000+ annually


• Highest earner at Regency Management Services has earned over $150,000


• Eligibility for select store performance bonuses


• Additional $150 per week for Assistant Sales Manager responsibilities
