Job summary

North American Roofing Services LLC in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Assistant Service Repair Technician to join our service team. You will support the Service department by investigating and repairing various roof types, working with a Lead Service Technician to deliver quality solutions for clients.

You will develop expertise in low-slope roofing, leak location, and roof-system components, while complying with safety standards and using our service software (FCS).

Qualifications

• Roofing knowledge and experience preferred.
• Experience with hand tools is preferred.
• Ability to obtain OSHA certification.
• Must be able to climb a ladder and lift up to 80 lbs.
• Work outside in all elements (heat, cold, rain, snow).
• Weekend and/or overnight travel may be required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to operate a tablet and smartphone.

We are actively searching for an Assistant Service Repair Technician to join our service team in the Jacksonville area.

In this role, you’ll provide support to the Service department by investigating and repairing a variety of roof types. You’ll work closely with a Lead Service Technician in your assigned demographic region to help deliver quality solutions to our clients.

Job Duties

• Work with Lead Service Technician to investigate and repair all types of low-slope commercial roofs
• Work to develop skill of determining leak location and common leak issues by Roof System Type
• Demonstrate safe working environment
• Develop advanced knowledge of all roof systems and roof system components
• Assisting in all snow and hurricane events to either participate in repairs or supervision
• Meet schedule and requirements of Clients
• Perform quality repairs with no callbacks due to workmanship
• Demonstrate understanding of warranty and non-warranty repair types
