Job summary

North American Roofing seeks an Assistant Service Repair Technician to join the Jacksonville service team. You will support the Service department by investigating and repairing a variety of roof types, working with a Lead Technician to deliver quality solutions to clients.

Responsibilities include learning roof systems, performing repairs with safety, and using service software (FCS). Weekend/overnight travel and pre-employment drug screening may be required.

Qualifications

• Roofing knowledge and experience preferred.
• Preferred experience in construction and/or working with hand tools.
• Ability to obtain OSHA certification.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and repair all types of low-slope commercial roofs in collaboration with Lead Service Technician.
• Develop skill to determine leak locations by Roof System Type.
• Demonstrate safe working environment.
• Learn all roof systems and components.
• Assist in snow and hurricane repairs or supervision.
• Meet client schedules and requirements.
• Perform quality repairs with minimal callbacks.
• Understand warranty vs. non-warranty repair types.
• Learn and operate service software (FCS).
• Collect data for proposed scopes of work.
