Advanced Roofing is seeking a Roofing Service Technician Assistant in Jacksonville, FL. You will aid in locating leaks and performing roof repairs, maintain company equipment, and keep trucks stocked and clean while following safety protocols.

The role requires 2 years of roofing experience preferred, clean driving record, and the ability to lift heavy loads in an outdoor environment. It is a full-time onsite position with company safety standards and teamwork at its core.

Qualifications

• 2 years commercial roofing service technician experience preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Successful Pre-Employment Drug and Agility tests.
• Ability to lift 100 LBS or more.
• Ability to withstand demands of extreme weather conditions and high temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in locating leaks and performing professional quality roof repairs in a safe and timely manner.
• Assist in operation and maintenance of all company issued equipment.
• Maintain trucks stocked and cleaned inside and out.
• Use industry standard manufacturer approved repair techniques.
• Complete daily assignments with proper paperwork.
• Remove clutter on roof and maintain a clean work area.
• Transport materials safely and efficiently.
• Stay aware of surroundings and hazards on site.
