Job summary

AT&T in Richmond, VA is seeking an Assistant Retail Store Manager to partner with the store manager and oversee daily store operations, merchandising, product launches, and customer experiences. You will drive sales and lead in-store initiatives to deliver outstanding service.

You will coach a team of retail sales consultants, lead outreach activities, and participate in best-in-class training programs to develop leadership skills and career growth.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
• Prior management experience.
• Well-developed planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends and AT&T mobility systems.
• The ability to collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls.
• Strategic perspective and the ability to champion change.
• Inspiring your team through high performance, collaboration, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of daily store operation in partnership with the store manager.

• Conduct outreach and promotional activities, including off-site events as needed.
• Coach a team of retail sales consultants to achieve sales and service goals.
