Job summary

Evans Hotels LLC at The Grill in Torrey Pines (La Jolla) seeks an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support daily restaurant and bar operations and lead the service team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

You will train and mentor staff, uphold AAA Five Diamond standards, and collaborate with hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction, labor efficiency, and service excellence across outlets within the resort.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume upscale restaurant.
• Experience running shifts, scheduling, and performance management.
• Must obtain San Diego County Food Handler certification on hire.
• RBS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and maintain AAA Five Diamond and brand service standards.
• Lead service team and mentor staff.
• Ensure training programs are executed and staff evaluated.
• Collaborate with hotel departments to support guest experiences.
• Manage labor efficiency and guest satisfaction metrics.
• Address issues promptly with professional tones.
