Job summary

Hilton’s Hotel del Coronado seeks a Restaurant Assistant General Manager to lead a 30+ Front of House team across multiple outlets. You will report to the General Restaurant Manager and aid in daily operations, quality and service standards, and staff development in a luxury resort setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of upscale restaurant management experience, strong beverage knowledge, and familiarity with hospitality management groups. Union experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience in an upscale dining environment.
• Experience in a union environment and luxury hotels is a plus.
• Strong beverage knowledge and experience with a hospitality management group is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of outlet(s), ensuring guest service standards, product quality, inventory, cost controls, profitability, marketing, budgeting and procedures.
• Enhance guest experiences by monitoring service and product quality, addressing feedback, resolving issues, and driving dining improvements.
• Inspire and develop the team through coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development under the Manager’s guidance.
• Support revenue initiatives by implementing marketing strategies, upselling techniques, and promotions to increase sales.
• Uphold health, safety, sanitation and alcohol regulations to ensure guest and team member wellbeing.
