Job summary

Dunkin' Donuts is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager, shift leaders and team. You will cover duties in the manager’s absence, lead floor operations, and drive Brand Training programs to deliver great guest experiences and profitable top-line sales at a single location.

You will help coach the team, ensure Brand standards, recipes and systems are followed, and participate in product rollouts, marketing and sampling when applicable.

Qualifications

• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math and financial management.
• Previous leadership experience in retail, restaurant or hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Lead team meetings, along with Restaurant Manager.
• Oversee Brand Training Programs, schedule, train, validate, certify team and shift lead staff.
• Ensure Brand standards, recipes and systems are executed.
• Create and maintain a guest focused culture in the restaurant.
• Review guest feedback results and implement action plans to drive improvement.
• Communicates restaurant priorities, goals and results to restaurant team members.
• Execute with RM new product rollouts including training, marketing and sampling where applicable.
• Execution of Point of Purchase in-store set up per Brand standards.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following safety, food safety and sanitation requirements and laws.
• Control costs to maximize profitability.
• Inventory completion on a periodic basis as determined by Franchisee.
• Support RM in weekly labor scheduling and staffing to meet guest demand.
• Support RM in assigning staff and deployment.
• Assist team and shift lead performance appraisal processes.
• Coach staff to drive sales, improve profitability and guest satisfaction.
• Understand KPIs such as sales goals, labor and cost of goods percentages, and speed of service goals.
