Beyond Catering in Darien, IL is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead hourly staff and drive a high-quality dining experience. You will manage shift operations, train new team members, and support Sr. Management with planning and execution to meet sales targets.

The position offers career advancement opportunities and a competitive pay rate of $18-$23 per hour plus tips, with a focus on building a solid management foundation for future Restaurant Manager roles.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in restaurant or retail (QSR preferred).
• Ability to lead 10+ team members per shift.
• Experience with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to established training programs.
• Provide guidance to our team and lead them toward success.
• Enforce policies, procedures, and controls.
• Assist Sr. Management with daily shift planners & checklists.
• Communicate new information to staff.
• Utilize the Management Communication Log during shifts.
• Assist with development and training of staff.
