Job summary

Cafua Management Company in Lawrence, MA is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in building a team of dedicated people, delivering great, friendly guest experiences, and driving profitable top-line sales.

You will help develop Crew and Shift Leaders, implement safety and sanitation guidelines, train staff, and monitor labor and inventory to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to count money and give correct change.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs (and heavier as needed).
• Must be able to stand for 6+ hours.
• Fluent in English; authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist to recruit, hire, onboard and develop employees and maintain staffing levels.
• Communicate job expectations and ensure training per guidelines.
• Hold team accountable for behavior and performance and address concerns.
• Create and maintain a guest-first culture in the restaurant.
• Ensure safety, sanitation and compliance with laws and brand standards.
• Help implement action plans to improve productivity, quality, and guest service.
