Job summary

Cafua Management Company is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager in Chelmsford, MA to support the Restaurant Manager in building a strong team and delivering great guest experiences while driving profitable top-line sales. You will help develop Crew and Shift Leaders, recruit and onboard staff, and enforce brand standards and safety guidelines.

The role includes scheduling, inventory oversight, and implementing action plans to improve operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to count money and make change.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for 6+ hours.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist to recruit, hire, onboard and develop employees, maintain staffing levels for projected sales.
• Communicate job expectations to employees and ensure training is completed per guidelines.
• Hold team members accountable for behavior and performance, address concerns promptly.
• Create and maintain a guest first culture in the restaurant.
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy environment by following safety, food safety, and sanitation guidelines; comply with laws.
• Ensure Brand standards, recipes and systems are executed including Red Book responsibilities.
• Help prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality and guest service standards.
• Review guest feedback and restaurant assessment results and implement action plans to drive system improvements.
• Control costs to maximize profitability.
• Adhere to security and cash handling procedures.
• Demonstrate competency in weekly inventory process and analysis.
• Demonstrate competency in writing effective crew schedules and monitoring labor performance daily.
• Execute new product roll-outs including team training, marketing and sampling.
• Drive sales goals and track results.
