Job summary

Cafua Management Company is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in developing a capable team and delivering great guest experiences and profitable top-line sales.

You will help recruit, train, and develop crew and shift leaders, ensure brand standards are followed, and drive sales while maintaining cost controls. This role requires English fluency, basic computer skills, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Capable of counting money and making change.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for 6+ hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist to recruit, hire, onboard and develop employees, maintain staffing levels for projected sales.
• Communicate job expectations to employees and ensure training per guidelines.
• Hold team members accountable for behavior and performance.
• Create and maintain a guest-first culture in the restaurant.
• Maintain safe and healthy environment by following safety and sanitation guidelines and laws.
• Ensure Brand standards and recipes are executed including Red Book responsibilities.
• Help prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality and guest service standards.
• Review guest feedback and restaurant assessment results and implement improvement actions.
• Control costs to maximize profitability.
• Adhere to security and cash handling procedures.
• Demonstrate competency in weekly inventory and labor scheduling.
