Job summary

Cafua Management Company in Chicopee, MA is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in building a capable team and delivering friendly guest experiences and strong top-line results.

You will help recruit, train, and develop crew and shift leaders, ensure brand standards and food safety, manage schedules, control costs, and drive sales while maintaining a guest-first culture.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Able to count money and make change.
• Lift at least 30 lbs.
• Stand 6+ hours daily.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, onboarding and developing staff to meet staffing needs.
• Communicate job expectations and ensure training per guidelines.
• Hold team accountable for behavior and performance.
• Create a guest-first culture in the restaurant.
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy environment per laws.
• Ensure brand standards, recipes and systems are followed.
• Help prepare action plans; drive productivity and service standards.
• Review guest feedback and implement improvements.
• Control costs to maximise profitability.
• Adhere to cash handling procedures.
• Demonstrate weekly inventory process and analysis.
• Demonstrate competency in writing crew schedules and monitoring labour daily.
• Execute new product rollouts including training and marketing.
• Drive sales goals and track results.
