Job summary

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Leader to assist the Restaurant Leader in daily operations and uphold Raising Cane’s standards and culture. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and interact with customers, supporting the restaurant’s success.

The role requires 3+ years of restaurant or retail management, strong leadership and communication skills, and flexibility to work various shifts.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Hires and terminates all hourly, non-management crewmembers.
• Owns onboarding, status changes and payroll for hourly crewmembers.
• Creates crewmember work and training schedules.
• Manages performance of hourly crewmembers with development and coaching.
• Acts as manager on duty and opens/closes the restaurant.
• Manages cash handling and ensures accountability.
• Enforces policies and standards; executes shift management meetings.
• Provides exemplary customer service and uses rewards programs.
• Authorizes employee functions requiring manager approval.
• Ensures cleanliness and good working order of the facility.
