Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking an Assistant Restaurant General Manager to support the General Manager in operating and marketing the restaurant at our CA location. You will help with staffing, training and supervising staff, and drive profitability while delivering fast, friendly service.

You will recruit and develop team members, uphold safety standards, manage vendor relationships, and ensure high-quality food and a clean dining area.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a restaurant setting
• Customer service and team motivation skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
• Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire your team to meet performance standards and improve profitability
• Coach and manage staff according to company policy
