Job summary

Jimmy John’s is seeking an Assistant Restaurant General Manager (ARGM) to oversee daily restaurant operations in the RGM’s absence and ensure compliance with company standards. You will lead guest engagement, uphold food safety, and supervise staff while driving profitability.

Responsibilities include resolving guest inquiries, recruiting and developing team members, managing schedules, and maintaining a safe, clean dining environment with well-kept equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents like safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, manuals.
• Promote positive team atmosphere; opportunities for growth/development.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Available to work minimum 40 hrs/wk including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily restaurant operations in RGM's absence and ensure adherence to company standards.
• Address and resolve guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Lead recruiting, hiring, development, and motivation of team members; manage schedules.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, preparation, and presentation of ingredients and menu items.
• Handle administrative responsibilities for the restaurant.
