Job summary

Central Carolina Technical College is seeking an Assistant Registrar to oversee enrollment, graduate reporting, and term processing. The role serves as the records liaison for subpoenas, FOIA, and other requests and may act as Registrar in the supervisor’s absence.

The incumbent will apply FERPA regulations, audit data in the Student Information System, evaluate transfer credits, and coordinate with admissions on placement.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or bachelor’s degree substituted for work experience.
• Experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enrollment and graduate reporting, and term processing.
• Serve as records liaison for subpoenas, FOIA, and other requests.
• Act as Registrar in supervisor's absence.
• Audit data, correct errors, and merge duplicate student records in the SIS.
• Evaluate transcripts for transfer credits and notify students of credits awarded.
• Coordinate with admissions and advisement on placement based on prior coursework.
• Oversee Degree Works administration and system updates, testing, and tickets.
• Collaborate with ILT and departments to reflect catalog changes in Degree Works.
