Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the community in Thornton, Colorado. This role emphasizes customer service, timely reporting, lease administration, and coordination of evictions and move-outs.

You will ensure rent collection, data entry into the property management software, and readiness of model apartments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports
• Provide courteous customer service and respond to resident requests
• Collect rents and oversee evictions/move-outs and conduct occupancy checks
• Coordinate with outside counsel during eviction processes
• Enter data into property management software and finalize move in/out files
• Oversee renters insurance procedures and deposits
• Process applications and maintain availability and lease information
• Keep model/apartments ready for showings and maintain workspace cleanliness
• Maintain knowledge of leases, market conditions, and policies
• Coordinate with locator services and local businesses for marketing
• Develop resident retention programs and outreach initiatives
• Report unusual property or resident circumstances
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times
