Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Portland, OR to support the property manager in operations, leasing, and resident relations. You will help maintain resident satisfaction, oversee contracts, and manage financial reporting.

The role requires 2–3 years in property management, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office; a real estate license is a plus and Yardi Voyager experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in property management.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities.
• Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager or equivalent system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in day-to-day operations of the property.
• Manage accounts receivable, rent collection and rent roll accuracy.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Process evictions, lease renewals, and move-ins/move-outs.
• Inspect property for safety and coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Train staff on leasing, marketing, and office operations.
