Job summary

The Property Management Company is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in leasing, rent applications, and tenant recertifications for a diverse portfolio including affordable housing.

Preferred candidates have property management exposure, familiarity with Project-based Section 8/LIHTC programs, knowledge of Fair Housing Laws, and comfort using Yardi; strong computer literacy and proactive teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Property management experience preferred.
• Experience with affordable housing programs is helpful.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws is advantageous.
• Experience with Yardi software is preferred.
• Computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager with correspondence and property-related matters.
• Assist in income collection and expense management to maximize property value.
• Implement standard operating procedures for daily tasks.
• Assist with tenant recertification and lease maintenance as needed.
• Strive to maintain 100% occupancy and high occupancy levels.
