Job summary

HallKeen Management is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support several small properties on the South Shore of Massachusetts. The role emphasizes LIHTC and DHCD programs, resident relations, and accurate recordkeeping.

Reporting to the Senior Property Manager, you will handle certifications, rent processing, and daily operations while delivering excellent service to residents and ensuring compliance with program requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management and/or affordable housing (LIHTC, HOME).
• Proficient with Real Page/One Site software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Interview residents and applicants for initials and annual recertifications.
• Answer phones and greet visitors.
• Interface daily with residents.
• Log and track service requests in the resident management system.
• Collect, process, and record rent payments.
• Maintain resident and apartment files.
