Job summary

Greentree North Apartments in North Charleston, SC is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to oversee daily operations of a Section 8/Tax Credit residential community.

You will lead leasing, maintenance, and resident relations, using OneSite for lease management and records. The role emphasizes customer service, organization, and compliance with LIHTC housing rules. This is a full-time, in-person position offering 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience of at least 2 years (Required).
• Assistant manager experience of at least 4 years (Required).
• Driver's license required.
• LIHTC housing regulations knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls in a warm and welcoming manner.
• Fully assist in managing all aspects of community operations, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.
• Use OneSite to manage leases, tenant communications, and property records.
• Assist in property inspections to ensure compliance.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new residents and retain current residents.
• Handle resident inquiries promptly, delivering excellent service.
• Potentially negotiate contracts with vendors for maintenance services.
• Maintain housing program records and aid residents in understanding options.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to address issues.
• Organize community events to foster resident engagement.
