AGPM, LLC seeks an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in daily operations, LIHTC/Section 8 processing, applicant screening, and vendor coordination while delivering outstanding resident service.

Qualifications

• Experience with LIHTC and Section 8 programs.
• Strong knowledge of affordable housing requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Yardi experience required.
• Experience in multifamily property management.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Organized with great attention to detail.
• Collaborates well with teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager with daily maintenance operations.
• Manage affordable housing waitlists.
• Screen applicants for LIHTC and Section 8 eligibility.
• Perform background/credit screenings.
• Complete LIHTC and S8 move-ins.
• Oversee HQS inspections/repairs.
• Supervise equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Oversee general building maintenance.
• Track and schedule resident repair requests and vendor work.
• Prepare vendor work authorizations with approvals.
• Maintain resident engagement and timely responses.
• Assist site team with regular agency inspections (REAC, MOR, API).
• Track vacant apartments and coordinate make-ready.
• Review MOR reports with PM on collections and arrears.
