The candidate should have a high school diploma and relevant customer service or property management experience, with familiarity of housing tax credit guidelines and basic financial tasks.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Prior experience as an Assistant Property Manager or customer service related to property management is preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state guidelines for low-income housing tax credit programs.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Basic accounting and financial understanding helpful.

Responsibilities

• Process lease applications and assist with verification and resident notification.
• Maintain accurate records in property management software and resident files.
• Ensure rent collection and proper data entry of revenue in the system.
• Adhere to all Gateway Management policies and procedures.
• Know apartment communities and local market comparables.
