Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Evanston, IL. The role supports the Property Manager in daily administration and will become cross-trained to cover duties in the manager's absence.

Responsibilities include assisting residents, coordinating lease renewals, preparing move-in paperwork, maintaining rent-readiness, handling service requests, and managing rental paperwork with attention to accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• 2 years property management experience.
• Previous leasing experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Willing to work weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with problems and requests.
• Discuss lease renewals with residents approaching expiration.
• Prepare move-in packets and paperwork.
• Inspect readies to maintain readiness.
• Take service calls and forward to appropriate staff.
• Write and follow up on work orders with maintenance.
• Maintain courteous resident relations and timely responses.
• Coordinate rental paperwork and reporting to accounting.
• Maintain tenant lease files.
• Assist in move-in and move-out processes.
• Answer outside calls and greet visitors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager.
• Be available for a varied schedule including weekends.
