Job summary

Gene B. Glick Company is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for our Woods of Savannah community. You will assist the Property Manager in maintaining cash flow, property standards, resident satisfaction, and managing the property in their absence.

Your role includes answering inquiries, showing apartments, processing move-ins/outs, collecting rents, and ensuring compliance with HUD and Fair Housing requirements. Ideal candidates are organized, communicative, and willing to travel for training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Property management experience preferred.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
• Able to work a varied schedule including weekends.
• Willing to travel for training and meetings.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer residents' and prospective residents' inquiries by phone and email.
• Show model/vacant apartments to prospective residents and explain terms of occupancy.
• Assist with move-ins, move-outs, certifications, and renewals.
• Close the sale with prospective residents and obtain deposits and applications.
• Follow up with prospective residents who have not leased to advance the sales process.
• Determine and certify eligibility following regulations and procedures.
• Assist with marketing surveys.
• Pursue and collect rent payments and assist with delinquencies.
• Investigate complaints and resolve problems per rules and regulations.
• Prepare, submit, and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident data.
• Provide information and reports in coordination with other departments.
• Ensure activities comply with HUD regulations and Fair Housing requirements.
