Job summary

Kittle Property Group in Savannah, GA is seeking an Assistant Manager - Apartments to support on-site operations at a multi-family community. This non-exempt, hourly role partners with the Property Manager to keep leasing, maintenance, and resident relations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and interpret basic instructions, simple correspondence and present information one-on-one or in small groups.
• Math skills: add/subtract, multiply/divide, fractions, decimals; interpret graphs.
• Reasoning: follow detailed instructions with common sense; handle simple problems.

Responsibilities

• Process new applications, re-certifications and provide information to compliance.
• Show apartments to prospective residents.
• Handle lease negotiations and renewals.
• Assist property manager in overseeing leasing and maintenance staff.
• Assist with marketing and leasing activities as requested.
• Maintain compliance policies and procedures.
• Assist manager with rent collection, rent ledger, bank deposits and petty cash records, delinquent rents, evictions, maintaining curb appeal.
• Assist manager in providing account information to the regional supervisor and credit agency.
• Assist manager with resident relations and enforcing community rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
