Gene B. Glick Company is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for the Carriage House Decatur community (220 units). The role supports the Property Manager to ensure cash flow, property upkeep, resident satisfaction, and continuity of operations in the absence of the Property Manager.

You will handle resident inquiries, tours, move-ins/outs, rent collection, and compliance with government regulations. A valid driver's license, weekend availability, and willingness to travel for training are

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Property management experience is preferred.
• Must be detail oriented and organized.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
• Able to work a varied schedule including weekends.
• Must be willing to travel for training and meetings.
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to read and comprehend the English language.
• Fluent in Spanish is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Promptly answer telephone and e-mail inquiries from residents and prospective residents.
• Follow-up on emails from prospective residents to obtain an appointment to show the community.
• Assist with move-ins, move-outs, certifications, and renewals.
• Tour model/vacant apartments and demonstrate features and benefits to prospective residents.
• Close the sale with prospective residents and collect deposits/applications as applicable.
• Follow up with prospective residents who have not leased to continue the sales process.
• Determine eligibility of prospective residents following regulations and procedures.
• Assist with marketing surveys and rent collection, delinquencies, and court filings.
• Investigate complaints and resolve problems per management rules and HUD/Fair Housing requirements.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documents.
