Highmark Residential, LLC is seeking an Assistant Property Manager at The Verandahs in Montgomery Village, MD. You will assist in community accounting, leasing, and supervising staff while ensuring smooth daily operations.

The role includes handling rent collections, coordinating with property software (Yardi, Yieldstar), and supporting resident services to maintain high satisfaction and occupancy rates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
• Apartment management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects and secures rental payments.
• Scans daily deposits and verifies accuracy.
• Assist Community Director with daily rate approvals in Yieldstar.
• Inputs daily activity in Yardi and clears validations.
• Prepares accounting records and reports and performs deposit accounting.
