Job summary

General Services Corporation (GSC) is seeking a Property Manager to oversee on-site operations at a traditional apartment community. You will lead leasing and maintenance staff, manage budgets, and work with marketing to drive occupancy and resident satisfaction.

You will coordinate rent collection, monitor delinquencies, and ensure property standards. Strong leadership, budgeting, and customer-service skills are essential for success within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a Property Management role.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with planning and maintaining budgets.
• Systems knowledge to include MRI or other Property Management Software.
• Willingness to learn, grow professionally, and work collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of an apartment community and provide welcoming and excellent customer service to residents, prospects, staff, and vendors.
• Assist with leading, guiding, and supervising leasing and maintenance staff as they serve residents of the GSC Apartment Community.
• Partner with senior leadership to maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets, occupancy, and resident satisfaction goals.
• Collaborate with Marketing and your team to cultivate business plans and marketing strategies.
• Oversee rent collection and seek opportunities to improve delinquencies by monitoring high-balance accounts.
• Complete weekly and monthly reports while monitoring occupancy, expenses, and delinquencies.
• Conduct regular on-site inspections of model units, grounds, and maintenance.
• Manage the efficiency and quality of move-outs and move-ins.
• Oversee capital improvement or repair projects with external vendors and communicate with staff, leadership, and residents.
