Job summary

Mercy Housing in Sacramento seeks an Assistant Property Manager to support daily property operations and customer service for residents at La Mancha, an affordable housing community. Experience with HUD and Tax Credit programs is essential.

You will work with the Property Manager, coordinate resident engagement, and assist with leasing from application to move-in, on-site. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

Responsibilities

• Enter data in resident accounts receivable ledgers.
• Assist with resident records documentation.
• Collect rent and other income, make bank deposits, and forward receipts.
• Assist with the leasing process from initial application to move-in.
• Respond to customer service requests.
• May work outside normal business hours to respond to the needs of the property.

The successful Assistant Property Manager will work with the Property Manager in the day‑to‑day operations of the property. A strong understanding of HUD and Tax Credit experience is essential. You’ll provide customer service to residents and visitors, take initiative, and give direction to staff. Work with the Front Desk and Maintenance site teams and coordinate resident engagement and events.

This is an on‑site position. La Mancha is an affordable housing apartment community in Sacramento.

Pay: $20.00‑$24.00/hour, dependent on experience.
