Job summary

POAH Communities on the north shore of Massachusetts seeks an Assistant Property Manager to oversee the Fairweather portfolio including Beverly, Danvers, Peabody and Salem. You will support leasing, occupancy and resident services while ensuring HUD-driven compliance across the portfolio.

Required are experience with government-assisted housing and certifications as Tax Credit Specialist and Occupancy Specialist, plus hands-on use of Yardi, MS Word, Excel and Outlook to coordinate daily

Qualifications

• Experience with government-assisted and subsidized housing programs is required.
• Certified Tax Credit Specialist and/or Certified Occupancy Specialist.
• Hands-on experience in day-to-day operations, leasing, occupancy and tenant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day operations, maintenance programs, marketing and leasing activities, occupancy and annual tenant certifications.
• Ensure compliance with HUD, Federal, State and Local laws.
• Process rents, move-ins/move-outs in Yardi and handle certifications.
• Collaborate with staff in the office and maintenance areas to maintain a cohesive environment.
