Job summary

Liberty Military Housing is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Norfolk, VA to oversee day-to-day bookkeeping, supervise on-site staff, and provide exemplary customer service to residents and partners.

You will handle rent collections, budget support, and vendor communications while promoting resident satisfaction and adhering to LMH standards. A valid driver's license and ability to travel to regional locations are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential property management or administrative/bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency with PCs, internet, email, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping of the community, including bills, purchase orders, A/P, A/R, delinquencies, collections, and invoicing.
• Assist District Manager with budget and operational goals.
• Supervise office staff and provide training/coaching.
• Collect rents and issue delinquency/balance letters.
• Maintain ledgers and reconcile delinquency reports; verify/adjust BAH.
• Communicate with vendors about billing and invoicing.
• Respond to resident requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Perform general office duties and data entry in Payscan, Yardi, and related systems.
• Attend property walks/meetings and assist with administrative tasks.
• Travel to regional locations as needed.
