Job summary

POAH Communities is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for Trinity Towers East, a 156-unit, 14-story community in Melbourne, FL. You will report to a Property Manager and support day-to-day operations, tenancy processing and compliance with HUD guidelines.

The ideal candidate has experience with government-assisted housing, is skilled in communication, and familiar with Yardi software; certification as Tax Credit or Occupancy Specialist is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with government-assisted and subsidized housing programs is required.
• Certified as a Tax Credit Specialist and/or Certified Occupancy Specialist.
• Hands-on experience in day-to-day operations, maintenance programs, marketing and leasing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HUD/state housing program compliance and alignment.
• Contract preparation with appropriate engineering specs for major repairs.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local laws.
• Assist in collecting rents, processing move-ins/outs in Yardi, and certifications.
• Collaborate with office and maintenance staff.
