Job summary

POAH Communities is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for Trinity Towers East, a 14-story, 156-unit building in Melbourne, FL. The role reports to a Property Manager and focuses on day-to-day operations, compliance, rent processing, and tenant certifications.

The ideal candidate will have experience with government-assisted housing and be familiar with Yardi. This on-site position offers a collaborative team environment and opportunities for professional growth within POAH Communities.

Qualifications

• Experience with government-assisted housing programs required.
• Certified Tax Credit Specialist and/or Certified Occupancy Specialist preferred.
• Experience supporting day-to-day operations, maintenance, marketing, leasing, and certifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication; computer proficiency expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager with assigned tasks and daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with HUD and state housing agency requirements.
• Prepare contracts and integrate engineering specs for major repairs.
• Manage rent collections, move-ins/move-outs in Yardi, and annual/interim certifications.
• Collaborate with staff in office and maintenance areas.
