Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support daily property operations, oversee leasing, and maintain high resident satisfaction. You will work closely with the property manager to ensure financial accuracy and timely reporting while coordinating vendor relations and safety protocols at the property.

The role requires 2–3 years in property management, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a working knowledge of Yardi Voyager or similar systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years property management experience required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required.
• Real estate license preferred or may be required locally.
• Prior experience with Yardi Voyager or equivalent system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in day-to-day property operations.
• Manage resident satisfaction, retention, and full lifecycle activities.
• Maintain accounts receivable: collect rent, post payments, deposit funds, balance rent roll.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Audit records for lease expirations, delinquencies, and unlawful detainers.
• Process evictions and attend court hearings as needed.
• Lease apartments and assist with marketing efforts.
• Inspect property, coordinate maintenance, and ensure safety/cleanliness.
• Train staff on leasing, marketing, and office operations.
• Prepare and send routine notices and correspondence.
• Assist with resident relations and issue resolution.
