Job summary

Morgan Properties is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager with leasing, collections, resident services, and maintenance oversight across the property. Your role will help ensure high standards and top-notch service for residents and staff.

You will assist with scheduling, records, refunds, and rental eligibility while coordinating with office staff and vendors. A strong customer-service mindset and detail orientation are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or two to three years of related experience and/or training.
• Prior property management or sales/customer service leadership experience.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance may be required for travel between properties.

Responsibilities

• Assist leasing, collections, resident services, and maintenance oversight under the Property Manager.
• Handle delinquent accounts, collections, move-ins, renewals, and rental records.
• Schedule property appointments and maintain accurate resident records.
• Process security deposits and ensure positive resident relations.
• Support monthly reporting on renewals, rents, leasing, and retention.
• Provide training/coaching to office staff and take meeting minutes as needed.
• Build relationships with vendors and oversee lease renewals and invoicing.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing Laws and company policies.
