Job summary

Avenue5 Residential at Lakeline in Austin, TX seeks an Assistant Property Manager to support the property manager in daily operations, lease administration, resident relations, and reporting.

You will help with rent collection, maintenance coordination, and regular financial/ leasing reporting while ensuring a positive experience for residents and owners. This role emphasizes teamwork, compliance, and excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two to three years of experience in property management is required.
• Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Experience with resident rental lifecycle activities is required.
• Prior experience with Yardi Voyager or similar system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in day-to-day operations including resident satisfaction, retention, and full lifecycle activities.
• Maintain accounts receivable including collecting rent, posting rent, daily deposits, and balanced rent roll.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Audit lease records and files for accuracy and renewal dates.
• Process move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals.
• Assist with leasing, marketing, and training staff.
• Handle notices, evictions, and related court proceedings.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of buildings and grounds; coordinate maintenance.
• Comply with company policies and health and safety regulations.
