Job summary

Digital Realty in Franklin Park, IL is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the portfolio’s financial and operational needs. You will report to the Property Manager and assist with budgeting, accruals, financial reporting, vendor management, and tenant coordination across data center facilities.

You will be essential in organizing financial statements, run forecasts, and ensure lease compliance while working with Technical Operations and Asset Management to meet corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of commercial property management and financial reporting experience.
• Proven track record of superior customer service.
• Strong understanding of financial terms and principles; experience with financial reporting, accruals and budgeting.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Yardi or similar PM software.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, budgeting and control of operating and capital expenditures.
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, monthly reports and variance reports with accruals.
• Handle accounts receivable/payable including rent collection and reconciliations.
• Respond to customer requests and coordinate with Property Management and Technical Operations teams.
• Oversee vendor selection, RFPs, service agreements and SLA adherence.
• Schedule maintenance with vendors and tenants; conduct property inspections.
• Maintain relationships with Asset Manager and Technical Operations; ensure corporate objectives are met.
