Job summary

Digital Realty Trust, L.P. is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in managing a portfolio of data center assets, with emphasis on financials, budgeting, and tenant relations.

You will collaborate with Operations and Asset Management to ensure lease compliance, vendor performance, and timely reporting while growing your expertise in commercial property management within a leading data center platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of commercial property management and financial reporting.
• Proven track record of superior customer service.
• Strong understanding of financial terms and ability to analyze statements; experience with financial reporting, accruals and budgeting.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management software.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to create complex financial documents.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong organizational skills and time management.
• Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
• Property/Construction accounting background and data center experience is a plus.
• Rudimentary knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, budgeting and control of operating and capital expenditures.
• Assist in annual budgets, forecasts, monthly reports, and variance reports.
• Assist accounts receivable/payable and rent collections; reconciliations and related documentation.
• Respond to customer requests; coordinate with Property Management and Technical Operations teams to resolve issues.
• Oversee vendor selection and performance; manage RFPs and SLAs.
• Schedule and facilitate maintenance with vendors and customers.
• Perform property inspections and recommend improvements.
• Maintain relationships with Asset Manager and Technical Operations for portfolio.
• Document and track certificates of insurance; maintain vendor/customer records.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers and vendors.
