Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Lewisville, TX to support the Property Manager in financial and operational duties for the assigned portfolio. You will handle budgets, accruals, financial reporting, inspections, and vendor coordination, while maintaining strong relationships with tenants and partners.

You will collaborate with Finance and Operations teams, manage tickets, and help drive efficiency across property operations and capital planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, accounting or finance, preferred; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three to five years of related experience in commercial property management and financial reporting.
• Proven track record of providing superior customer service.
• Strong understanding of financial terms and principles and the ability to analyze financial statements.
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management software.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, budgeting and control of operating and capital expenditures.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, monthly reports, and variance reports, including accruals and journal entries.
• Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes and rent collection.
• Respond to customer requests; coordinate with Property Management and Technical Operations.
• Oversee vendor selection, RFPs and service agreements; monitor vendor performance against SLAs.
• Schedule and facilitate maintenance with vendors and customers.
• Perform property inspections and recommend improvements for the portfolio.
• Maintain relationships with Asset Manager and Technical Operations to meet corporate objectives.
• Document and track certificates of insurance from vendors and customers.
• Keep accurate information for vendors and customers.
• Establish relationships with internal and external customers and vendors.
