Job summary

Fairstead in Oklahoma City is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for affordable housing to help oversee daily operations, leasing activities, and resident relations at one of our communities. You will work closely with the Property Manager to ensure smooth on-site performance, maintain compliance with HUD guidelines, and support the on-site team in coordinating leasing, payments, and service requests.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in affordable housing leasing or property management.
• Experience with EIV and Yardi.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Property Manager to ensure compliance in HUD guidelines.
• Coordinate maintenance and resident services to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist in renewals, rent collection, and accounting transactions.
• Respond to resident questions, complaints, and requests in a timely manner.
• Assist in preparing for inspections and reviews (REAC, MOR, LIHTC).
• Oversee lease renewals and communicate with residents on status.
