Job summary

  • Tour vacant or occupied apartments, process rental applications, screen potential residents, run credit checks, and prepare new lease agreements.
  • Assist with the preparation of lease paperwork and move-in process and coordination.
  • Prepare lease renewal paperwork for distribution to residents. Follow-up on timely returns.
  • Assist with rent collections – contact delinquent residents and notify residents if rental account is not up to date (partial payment, rent increase, etc.).
  • Monitor service requests with maintenance staff or vendors to ensure timely repairs and satisfied residents.
  • Maintain organized resident files, prepare weekly and monthly leasing activity reports, and assist the Property Manager as needed.

Our client, a Boston-based developer who has helped shape the skyline of Boston, is looking for a driven Assistant Property Manager to assist with handling resident relations, resident notification, rent collection, lease administration, and maintenance coordination.

Pay Range:

$80,000 – $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
