Overview

The Assistant Property Manager will work with others in Property Management to ensure that all aspects of managing four office buildings (~945K sq feet) are covered efficiently and professionally. Portfolio size has opportunity to grow. This position will function as a generalist, working in operations, leasing, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities
  1. Building Operations/Administration:
    • Assist Senior Property Manager and Engineering in building operations, life safety, incident reports, and insurance claims.
    • Assist in preparing bid packages.
    • Review work order reports weekly.
    • Schedule vendor work and coordinate building and tenant construction.
    • Manage tenant relations, supervise tenant programs, and perform inspections.
    • Initiate pricing for projects and review COIs quarterly.
  2. Management Office:
    • Provide backup for property management calls.
    • Assist in meetings.
  3. Financial Reporting:
    • Complete variance reports and prepare monthly accruals.
    • Assist with annual budgets and invoice approvals.
    • Review accounts receivable.
  4. Communication:
    • Maintain communication with management team, prepare tenant memos, review security reports, and interface with tenants, brokers, vendors, and visitors.
  5. Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Real Estate, Accounting).
    • Three years’ experience in real estate.
    • RPA designation and Broker’s License are pluses.
    • Strong financial, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Decision-making skills and adaptability.
    • Valid driver’s license and ability to perform off-site duties.
    • Proficiency with property management software (Yardi preferred), ARGUS, MS Office.
    • Security clearance may be required for some roles.
