Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking an Assistant Maintenance to support the maintenance supervisor and uphold property safety and integrity. You will work with the leasing team to maximize renewals and leasing opportunities while following ADA, Fair Housing, OSHA, and related laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or related trade.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours when possible.
• Assist in safety compliance and adherence to company policies and laws.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance and make-ready status for vacant units.
• Perform minor routine maintenance on equipment and systems (electric, plumbing, HVAC, appliances).
• Assist with inspections and on-call coverage as needed.
