Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Bow, NH to support the Project Manager with safety, planning, scheduling, cost monitoring and reporting. The role involves budgeting, estimating, change orders, billing and bid development across electrical utility construction projects.

You will work to develop and maintain project systems, track performance metrics, prepare proposals, and coordinate with purchasing, field teams and customers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

• Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of systems for accounting, cost reporting and budgeting.
• Support proposal and estimate preparation including drawing take-offs.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on job structure, safety, scheduling and cost controls.
• Assist in hand-off from estimating to field supervision and manage submittals.
• Travel to project sites on a regular basis and provide weekly progress updates.
• Assist with change orders, forecasts and monthly reports.
